I'm a photographer based in rural North Dorset, with years of experience both behind the lens and in the classroom as a photography teacher. My work is rooted in a deep respect for animals and a lifelong passion for visual storytelling.

Still and Wild is where those passions meet. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or even chickens! I aim to capture honest, characterful portraits that reflect each animal’s unique nature. I welcome the quirks, the energy, and the quiet moments — every shoot is a chance to tell a story.

Alongside animal portraiture, I also create fine art botanical images. These studies focus on form, texture, and the quiet beauty of natural detail — a slower, contemplative process that complements the energy of working with animals.

Our own home is filled with images of the animals we've loved over the years. These photographs are more than keepsakes — they’re reminders of the relationships, the joy, and the everyday moments we never want to forget.
