Frequently asked questions
I try to schedule shoots to make the most of natural light whenever possible — it really helps to bring out the best in your images.
Your pet’s comfort and happiness are the top priority. Cats and other small animals are usually best photographed at home. If you'd like a studio-style look, I can bring a small mobile studio setup to you.
For dogs, we can head to their favourite walking route or choose a beautiful location together — forests, fields, the beach or secure fenced areas if you prefer.
No problem at all! I'm happy to photograph dogs on a lead, and I can remove the lead during editing — just a little bit of digital magic.
I will keep a close eye on the weather forecast and if necessary reschedule at your convenience.
I usually allow 1.5 to 2 hours for a shoot. This allows time for your animals to become familiar with me and my equipment.
I usually spend between 1.5 and 2 hours with you, but my goal is always to achieve the best possible results. If your pet needs a little extra time, we’ll take it — there’s no rush.
I aim to show you images within 3 weeks of your shoot. Your print/s will be with you approximately a week later depending on requirements.
